Description
For most formats, the system can be changed over without tools. In extreme
cases, the system requires only two tools and eleven change parts. Electronic
timing with programmable selector switches further simplifies the changeover
process. Fixed stop positioning, on all adjustable assemblies, eliminates fine
tuning after changeover.
The system will handle both
pre-glued cartons and tray blanks, with optional assemblies. The standard model will pack
12,15 16, 18, 20 and 24 count multi-packs at speeds up to 180 12-packs per minute,
depending on product characteristics and configuration. An option is available for
30-count cases.
The straight forward, open work flow
allows operators to monitor the entire feed/erect/insert/seal process. Reliable mechanical
and pneumatic operations keep production flowing smoothly, with positive material
transport and control from infeed to discharge. The Nigrelli Systems Universal
Multi-Packer is constructed to the highest machine tool standards. Rugged construction
throughout, with stainless steel shafts, isolated hot melt circuits, automatic
lubrication, and overload protection reduce maintenance requirements, and increase return
on investment.
