The new style rotary feed is ergonomically more
feasible; offering the operator easier loading access. Additionally,
this new style rotary feed will tolerate greater tray variances.

MASS FEED
The mass feed conveyor consists of a 60" section with
a capacity of approx. 600 trays. Additional tray blank capacity is
available - each section, (84" or approx. 840 tray blanks) can be
added to the original 60" mass feed conveyor. Total tray capacity is
600+840=1440. Tray blanks are fed forward to the hopper by means of the
ratchet driven mass feed conveyor. Vacuum to pull tray blanks is
created by means of a vacuum transducer. Timing of the vacuum cycle to
pull tray blanks from the hopper is achieved through a mechanical
rotary valve.
